Wakaaranga school is located at 18 Butley Drive. It is one of the biggest schools in Auckland.
Our principal has been at this school for 14 years and I think that Mrs Dale has been here longer than Mr Jenkin our principal .
Our school hall was rebuilt this year. For the year six production our school bought spotlights! When the year six did the Peter Pan production I reckon that it was a big hit with the parents!
The school has about 700 students and 43 teachers. Our school is special because people have Chinese classes here and we have wakacare and many.
Wakaaranga is a amazing school and I think it is the best school in the world!

The Lighthouse Keepers Catastrophe Mr and Mrs Grinling lived in a little cottage on the cliff edge. Mr Grinling was the lighthouse keeper and he loved his job. Everyday Mrs Grinling made a yummy lunch for Mr Grinling. At lunch Mrs Grinling would pack it in a basket and send it down a wire to the lighthouse. On holiday, when the sun shone they would be fishing for hours. Hamish the cat was chasing seagulls, not quite what he had in mind. Instead he was eating fish. When Mr Grinling saw what Hamish was doing he got really mad. "YOU LAZY CAT!" he said, "eating all the fish that Mrs Grinling and I caught!" He was going to put Hamish in the lighthouse. "Move pussy cat!" he yelled again. Poor Hamish got in to the lighthouse. SLAM!! the door shut.Mr and Mrs Grinling were fishing for an hour or so. Then Mr Grinling's stomach started to rumble. Lunch was soon, so Mr Grinling went to let Hamish the cat out but when he turned the doorknob it wouldn't move.HI-YA! He hit the door hard but still it wouldn't move.He tried and tried but nothing worked."He will be ok " she soothed, so they went back to the little cottage on the cliff. "There must be another key somewhere" "it was in the teapot remember"he got the key and his lunch mrs Grinling made .He set off he got half way mrs Grinling said he forgot something, so he went all the way back but seagulls were already eating his lunch and suddenly the basket was rolling down the cliff. It fell into to the deep blue sea. His lunch and the key fell in the sea.When he was back mrs Grinling saw parts of the lunch spilled on the floor." Mr Grinling you still leave your lunch to the seagulls"mrs Grinling said.But where is the key "I don't know it is lost forever"There must another somewhere"it dropped from your pants hole last year remeber".At night Mrs Grinling had a great idea!She quickly went to the supermarket and got a bag and went all around the house and weighed the sack and then weighed Mr Grinling.She pushed the sack of food down the wire."Your turn"he complained but still she said "save Hamish save the ships".So he went do the line.He save the ships and Hamish.YIPPPPPPE!
The Golden Harp
There once was a little girl called Georgia.She was very fussy.One bright sunny day her mother told her to take the dog for a walk "alright,why do I have to do it"? "because there no one else" so she did .When they were down by the deep blue lake.She saw something amazing.A GOLDEN HARP!She couldn't believe her eyes.But if her mother saw she thought that she would buy all the stuff her mother wanted but noting she wanted.So she decided to keep it to her self.But as soon as she touched it her body vibrated.but somehow something strange happened.She had turned good very good indeed.But when she reached for the harp she fell!The lake was very deep. She sunk to the very bottom.But she saw something shiny. It was a gold charm braclet. It had all sorts of charms.She knew it would mean a lot to her family

Tiredness is the colour of dark green.
The taste of a rotten sour green apple.
The horrible smell of smoke.
The look of a withered garden.
It sounds like loud moaning.
Tiredness is like sinking in water.
Envy
Envy is the colour of mixed green.
The taste of over salted fish.
The disgusting smell of rotten blue cheese.
The look of a amazing toy that you don't have.
It sounds like someone won something and everyone are cheering for that person.
Envy feels like a volocano ready to explode!

His hair is the colour of an orange
His personality is always spontaneous.
He cheers up kids if they feel sad or lonely.
